• WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

    All workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year from completion.

    CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PRODUCTS

    We install customer-supplied items with care, but no warranty applies to items we did not supply, including performance, fit, or defects.

    DRAIN CLEANING

    Due to unknown pipe conditions, no warranty applies to drain clearing results. We use professional methods and care.

    ESTIMATING, QUOTES & SITE VISITS

    On-site estimates, quotes, diagnostic visits, and assessments are considered billable service time unless otherwise stated in writing. Time spent investigating, estimating, quoting, diagnosing, or assessing the issue or project is included as billable service. Authorization is required before moving from diagnosis into repair work.

    BILLABLE TIME

    Billing begins when we depart for your location and includes all drive time, on-site time, and service-related activities such as investigating, estimating, quoting, diagnosing, assessing, repairing, and completing the required work.

    MINIMUM CHARGE

    All service appointments are subject to a minimum charge equal to the first 1.5 hours of labour, regardless of time spent on site. The minimum charge may be lowered at the discretion of Tubman Plumbing LTD.

    DEPOSITS

    Any job may be subject to a deposit before arrival. Large projects, multi-day work, and jobs requiring special-order or custom materials may require a non-refundable deposit to secure scheduling and order materials. Deposits are applied toward the final invoice.

    RETURN VISITS

    If access, site readiness, or customer-supplied materials prevent work from being completed, return visits may be billed at standard rates.

    SCOPE & HIDDEN CONDITIONS

    Estimates and Quotes are based on visible/known conditions. If hidden issues, safety hazards, access challenges, or code concerns are discovered, we will review options and obtain approval before extra work continues.

    CODE COMPLIANCE

    New work meets applicable plumbing/gas code at the time of installation. We are not responsible for pre-existing code issues unless agreed to in writing.

    ACCESS & SAFETY

    Provide safe, clear access to the work area. Missed appointments or unsafe conditions may result in rescheduling or trip fees.

    OTHER TRADES

    We are not responsible for damage or changes caused by other contractors after our work.

    MAINTENANCE & OPERATION

    Proper use and maintenance per manufacturer instructions is required. Failures due to neglect, freezing, misuse, or lack of maintenance are not covered.

    INCIDENTAL PROPERTY ACCESS

    Work may require access through drywall, flooring, cabinets, landscaping, and more. Restoration is not included unless stated in writing.

    PAYMENT TERMS

    Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

    Warranty service may be paused if account balances are overdue (safety issues excepted).

    PHOTOS & PRIVACY (PIPA — BC)

    We may take photos for records and warranty documentation. Marketing use requires your consent and will not include identifying details. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

    DELAYS & SAFETY RIGHTS

    We are not liable for delays outside our control (supply chain, emergencies, weather). We may pause or stop work if conditions are unsafe or if payment issues occur.

    LIABILITY

    We perform work with due care and skill. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages unless caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

    YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

    Nothing here limits your rights under BC law.

    ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS, WARRANTY, & LIABILITY

    By requesting service from Tubman Plumbing LTD—including approving a quote or estimate, authorizing a work order, or scheduling any on-site visit, service call, or diagnostic/estimating appointment—you acknowledge and agree to our Terms, Warranty & Liability.
    Scheduling an appointment or confirming an on-site visit constitutes acceptance of these terms, even if no signed document is returned.
